继2005年大卖座的第一集之后，《曼谷保镖》于今年拍出了续集，有“泰国周星驰”之称泰国喜剧明星拔泰王锦鲁继续自编自导自演，继续请来《拳霸》东尼·嘉参与演出。影片向周星驰、成龙电影偷了师，并且自己恶搞了《拳霸》《冬荫功》等片，拔泰王锦鲁（《拳霸》另一主演）演出非常出彩过瘾。Tony Jaa则之是客串身份，在片中有一场打斗，另外自己还拿《冬荫功》开涮，十分的“搞”。
